After what seems like an eternity, I have finally Self-published the first volume of my most popular web series “A Gatekeeper and The Celestial Sovereign”.
What started as a whimsical thought, turned into months of effort and investment of both time and effort, and eventually a physical product.
Now the Danmei (LGBT) Wuxia web series is available as an eBook, a Paperback, a Hardback and a Premium Paperback.
I worked with an amazing Artist, Rodrigo Gil Chávez, known as @gil.rodrigo on Instagram. He made a series of five phenomenal pieces for the Book which can be found in the eBook, Hardback and Premium Paperback in full colour.
Two years ago when I began writing “A Gatekeeper and The Celestial Sovereign”, for fun, I never imagined that I would bring it to where it is today.
I signed up to the website WebNovel years ago due to my love for Wuxia novels. At the time I already wrote fan-fiction under various other pen-names.
When I found out you could also publish your own original stories on WebNovel in a similar fashion to Wattpad I was exhilarated.
I published a different story at first but then I hated it and deleted it, and then through some overnight inspiration I began writing “A Gatekeeper and The Celestial Sovereign”, and now 1 million views later and several more dedicated online readers, and now being upgraded to a Premium writer on the site, I have actually published the first volume of the book.
I plan on being traditionally published one day with several books to my real-name, and I’m currently refining the first draft of my debut novel “Cosmos” which I can’t wait to tell you all about, but in the meantime I hope you all enjoy the bizarre Eastern Fantasy novel series under my pen-name M.Lexi a.k.a. Mexulexi.
Thank you so much to all my online readers and everyone that has supported me.
