On May 20 2023 I had the pleasure of attending BAFTA Guru Cymru Live, a fantastic event full of panels for emerging talent in film, games and TV. Not only could I attend and witness fantastic industry figures offering insight and advice on their careers and expertise, I also got to be on a panel and share my own experiences.
I was on the panel ‘My first three years in TV’ where I discussed entering the TV industry and my experiences since starting my career in 2020.
I shared this panel with the amazing Hannah Williams (BBC Business Advisor), Llew Davies (Online Editor), and Allison Dowzell (Managing Director at Screen Alliance Wales).
The Panel was hosted by Rahim Mastafa (Freelance Avid Editor).
It was such an honour to share a panel with all these fantastic and influential figures in the TV Space. Sharing my experience with them highlighted a path to success, networking and career climbing that inspired me and I hope was able to inspire everyone that attended that panel.
It was a fantastic opportunity and lovely event, thank you so much BAFTA Cymru.
